Traditional Jordan Architecture

Jordan has a unique traditional architecture based on local needs, construction materials and reflecting local traditions. Jordan’s traditional houses reflect various forms based on its location. Consequently, the design elements vary considerably from one site to another. The project team conducted digital documentation of two of Jordan’s traditional houses in two different cities : (1) Qaqish House in the city of As-Salt and (2) Art House also known as Beit Al-Fann in the city of Amman.
