الحفاظ على التراث في الأردن من خلال استخدام التكنولوجيا. هو مشروع بحثي بين كل من (الأردن والمملكة المتحدة) ومدته عامين، هو يعنى بأهمية وكيفية استخدام المسح ثلاثي الأبعاد وغيرها من عمليات البناء ضمن مواقع التراث في الأردن. هذا المشروع ممول من قبل الأكاديمية الملكية للهندسة من خلال صندوق نيوتن وبالتعاون مع المجلس الأعلى للعلوم والتكنولوجيا بالأردن. حيث أن المشروع يستهدف مدينة السلط كحالة دراسية لتوثيق بعض المباني التراثية (بيت قاقيش وبيت الجغبير) وذلك من خلال تطوير مجموعة من النماذج الافتراضية، هذة النماذج سوف تشكل مستودع يساهم في دعم قطاع التراث المعماري والحفاظ عليه. كما يقود هذا المشروع الدكتورة رانية أبو رمضان كباحث رئيسي، ومن الجانب البريطاني الدكتورة كلوديا، وإلى جانب التعاون مع شركاء صناعيين من الطرفيين ممثلين بهيئة تنشيط السياحة وسيرفاي تك من الجانب الأردني، وبنتلي من الجانب البريطاني،

وقد بدأ تنفيذ المشروع في شهر أبريل 2019 ويستمر عامين، حيث عقد فريق العمل عدة زيارات خلال عام 2019 لمواقع تراثية بمدينة السلط وبالتعاون مع بلدية السلط نتجت عنها ورشة عمل عقدت في شهر فبراير 2020 شارك بها عدد من الخبراء والمعمارين والمهتمين بأمور التراث. حيث عمل الباحثون والخبراء بشكل تعاوني لتحديد التحديات والفرص المتاحة لتطبيق التقنيات الرقمية في الحفاظ على التراث في الأردن.

Partners

Our research is partnered with multiple stakeholders across Jordan and the United Kingdom. These stakeholders include those working at local, national and international levels with interest in, and particularly with influence over, processes that can support inclusive digitalization of cultural heritage in Jordan. Such stakeholders have a dual role in the project. They are co-producers of knowledge generated through the research process, and they are a target audience who can utilise the findings that emerge from the research.

Jordan Digital Heritage Platforms

Would you like to explore more of Jordan’s rich heritage? There is a wealth of digital resources to explore including projects such as the APAAME project which is home to over 100,000 aerial photographs of Jordan, EAMEANA project for endangered archaeology, the Middle Eastern Geodatabase for Antiquities, Jordan (MEGA-J), 3D models from the Wadi Faynan area in Jordan and a virtual tour of Petra from the ZAMANI project.
